First I will quote Wikipedia: "Sesame has one of the highest oil content of any seed, some varietals exceeding 50 percent oil content compared to soybean's 20 percent. Sesame oil is one of the most stable vegetable oils, with long shelf life, because of the high level of natural antioxidants (sesamin, sesamolin, and sesamol). Oil [...] contains about 47 percent oleic and 39 percent linoleic acid [...] rich in Omega 6 fatty acids, but lacks Omega 3 fatty acids [...] Sesame seed is also rich in protein, at 25 percent by weight." Guess this is enough to motivate you to start using sesame in your meals, and here is one of suggestions - Triple sesame avocado.
For two portions of this salad you need: 3 medium sized tomatoes, two avocados, 100 g rocket leaves, 3 - 5 spoons of black and white sesame seeds, 2 spoons of sesame oil, 1.5 spoon of liquid honey, few drops of apple or other fruit vinegar.
Preparation: cut tomatoes and avocados in pieces, add rocket salad and sesame seeds. Mix it slightly. Blend honey, oil and vinegar in a small cup to reach uniform consistency. Pull dressing over the salad, mix slightly. Enjoy!
